Tonight is the Night!

Tonight is the night, It is my night. I worked extremely hard to get here, and I am so very proud! I did it, and I did it on my own. He said that I couldn't do it, that I wouldn't make good grades. Well I did, I maintained a 4.0, you can't get any better than that, and I did it without his money. He did not even call to say congratulations. That is enough of that, to day is my happy day, it is a stepping stone for me, because I am simply going to climb higher. The more I achieve, the less his words, or lack there of sting!

My supervisor at work took out an ad in the paper! They came and took my picture and everything. It was pretty long, stating all of my academic achievements, all while I was working for the Police Department, Fire Department, and part time job in G-ville... It was very nice. Now everywhere I went today, someone said "Hey I saw you in the paper, congrats!" It was kindof cool, guess that is my fifteen minutes of fame huh? :) I went and had my hair curled, not that it is going to stay, as it is already almost straight.... and this is the lady that has cut my hair since I was two years old, she would not let me pay, she just hugged me and said she was proud! I almost cried...

well enough of the girl moments... I am going to go as it is 1600... gotta go put on a little black dress, and little black heals, (oh hole other story... shopping with my pal BB)
